I heard about a neat geocache titled 'Falling Water/Talking Rocks' that is near some petroglyphs that are located on some lava rock cliffs. Our family decided to venture out to this spot and see them for ourselves. We weren't disappointed. There are some really nice illustrations on the rock faces that contain small circles and a few other organic shapes. They are faded and a little hard to see but it was well worth the trip to see some ancient history. The Native Tribes that lived in this area were the Modoc Indians whose territorial boundaries stretched along southern Klamath and Lake counties in Oregon and down into Siskiyou and Modoc Counties in Northern California.
