The Gymnázium Jana Keplera is a public gymnasium located in Prague 6 district in Prague, Czech Republic. It offers eight-year and four-year programmes covering both sciences and humanities and including the study of foreign languages (English language is compulsory, for the last four years students choose French language or German language in addition). The school has approximately 75 teachers and 600 students and is housed within a single building comprising three parts. The oldest part was built in 1932 in the functionalist style. On 6 June 1971 the school, which changed names several times during its existence, was named in honor of Johannes Kepler.

Rok 1901 byl rokem, v kterém mesto Praha uctilo památku 300 let od úmrtí Tychona Brahe. V té souvislosti byl také od 24. do 29. cervna dukladne prozkoumán jeho hrob v Týnském chrámu. Bylo nezvratne zjišteno, že zde uložené kosterní pozustatky patrí Tychonu Brahe a jeho manželce Kristine. Byly nalezeny též zbytky nosní protézy vyrobené ze slitiny zlata a stríbra. Tycho Brahe ješte jako nerozvážný mladík svedl šermírský souboj, ve kterém prišel o tuto cást svého obliceje. Po ohledání kosterních pozustatku byla hrobka pietne upravena, zakryta v úrovni dlažby žulovou deskou s nápisem Tycho Brahe a nakonzervován jeho mramorový epitaf na prilehlém kostelním pilíri.
Dne 5. zári 1930 bylo vydáno povolení na stavbu obecne a obcanské dívcí školy, dnešního gymnázia Jana Keplera. Na škole se zacalo vyucovat ve školním roce 1931-1932. Dne 27. cervna 1932 navštívila školu výprava amerických profesoru a ucitelu kreslení z Columbia university z Chicaga a University California z Los Angeles.
Dne 15. kvetna 1939 se 120 ríšskonemeckých vojáku nastehovalo do telocvicny školy a následujícího dne obsadili okupanti celou školní budovu.
Dnes v budove sídlí ctyrleté a osmileté gymnázium Jana Keplera.
