The Town Hall is the administrative centre for the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes.The two-storey building was constructed in the Inter-war period inn the Federation Free Classical style and when opened in 1936 consisted of a hall, board offices, lesser hall, ladies rest room and banking chambers occupied by the Commonwealth Bank.
Bridgetown is located on the north side of the Blackwood River 280km south of Perth on the Southwestern Hwy and is a popular destination for people wishing to explore the nearby National Parks by foot or mountain bike or paddle on the river
