Rankin Cemetery, in the alkalai flats south of town, is nevertheless a peaceful and landscaped final resting place for the dear departed of Upton County.
The freestanding arch at the entry has nice local stone pillars and a decorative iron arch, with the words RANKIN CEMETERY and three metal juniper silhouettes on top.
The day Blasterz visited, we were surprised at how large this cemetery is. We estimate there are about 900-1000 people buried here.
