The Rivière-des-Mille-Îles Park includes a group of natural environments, water bodies, islands, swamps and banks, which are managed and managed by Éco-Nature.
It includes municipal land and numerous private lands that are grouped together thanks to Eco-Nature's awareness-raising work and the involvement of riparian owners who favor the protection of the environment. The Park has a rich and unique biodiversity, as evidenced by its status as a "Wildlife Refuge". This territory, protected in 1998, consists of ten islands covering 26.2 hectares of private land belonging to the cities of Laval and Rosemère and the Éco-Nature organization.
