Ambrose Spencer Kelly represented the town of Ramsey in Tynwald, the Island's Parliament, from 1946 until 1969 and this public service is recognised by this plaque which is attached to the Old Court House building in Ramsey.
The Plaque is inscribed with the following words:
"IN RECOGNITION OF
Public service to
the ISLE OF MAN
rendered by
AMBROSE SPENCER KELLY
J.P. M.H.K.
WHO REPRESENTED RAMSEY 1946-1969
A TRUE MANXMAN"
The Island's Three Legs of Man symbol appears at the top of the the Plaque which has white lettering save for the initial letters of the name Ambrose Spencer Kelly which are in gold on a red background.
