The clock has two identical faces each visible from along the High Street. The clock has a tiled gabled hood on decorative cast-iron brackets projecting from tower. The hood and brackets are painted black.
The face is circular and painted black with a gold rim. The hour and minute marks are painted directly onto the clock face and are also in gold. The hands are a simple design and, again, are coloured gold.
