"Olive Island Marina lies at the head of the bay of U. Sutomiscica on the NE coast of the island of Ugljan in Croatia. The bay is just three miles WSW of the city of Zadar on the mainland. The marina, which opens all year round, offers a total of 225 berths for yachts up to 50 metres in depths of up to 7.0 metres. It unusual name is a reference to the supposed derivation of Ugljan from the Croat word for olive. The marina offers good shelter in most wind conditions, but strong NE winds send a swell into the bay and some berths in the marina are affected. "
