Millennium Shelter - Onchan, Isle of Man - Made for the Millennium on Waymarking.com

The Shelter was opened on 6th September 2000 by Mr Adrian Earnshaw, J.P. the then Chairman of the Commissioners.

The Shelter is situated in lower Onchan at the main entrance to Port Jack Glen,at the bottom of Royal Avenue.

There is a memorial plaque in the left-hand end of the Shelter, when entering the Glen, which is inscribed as follows:
