Un public nombreux a assisté aux débuts de ce forgeron pas comme les autres, qui surplombe la nouvelle place Chastel.
Le jacquemart est l'œuvre de Michel et Jean-Pierre Hartmann, artistes vivant en Auvergne connus pour de nombreuses sculptures, notamment les dragons du musée de la Magie, à Blois.

In the central square of Thiers, just in front of the Hotel de Ville, a blacksmith squares the hours of his hammer.
A large audience attended the beginnings of this unlike blacksmith, who overlooks the new Chastel Square.
