Two years before the church was built in 1887, Siri Swenson, wife of Bersven Swenson was buried here.
There is an arched entrance with the cemetery name, but the cemetery is not fenced in.
The church is no longer holds regular services. A new church was built and this one is now used for weddings, reunions, etc.
