Fontaine du Septem (1829) - This fountain fed the Faubourg du Septem. On the square was established the office which collected a tax corresponding to the seventh of the harvests. The circular basin comes from an ancient fountain originally found on the Place Jean Jaurès.

La plaque se lit comme suit:
Fontaine du Septem (1829) - Cette fontaine alimentait le faubourg du Septem. Sur la place s'établissait le bureau qui percevait un impôt correspondant au septième des récoltes. Le bassin circulaire provient d'une ancienne fontaine se trouvant à l'origine sur la place Jean Jaurès.
