This weathervane is located at top of a turret of the old Post Office Building in Aalborg. It depicts old building probably some city gate.

The post office is built in red brick in national romantic style. Features like the distinctive tower and the gable motifs are inspired by Danish manor-house traditions. The abundance of details is characteristic of the buildings of the architect Hack Kampmann, who was Royal building inspector.
