The memorial is a black marble plaque with gold lettering and depiction of Rescue launch in top right corner. RAF and Marine Craft Units crests are displayed in gold. The memorial was unveiled in 2009. It is attached to the sea wall, just opposite the entrance to the Sea Terminal in Douglas, Isle of Man.
