The murdered Arno Beckmann was not an untitled page: Theft, prison - and now he should have tried as a marrying boyfriend? Beckmann's former colleague, Körner, claims that this. Körner, even a chaplain, had instigated Beckmann to enable him to finally fulfill his dream of a better life.
Location:
Nymphenburg Palace is located in the western part of Munich, in the Neuhausen-Nymphenburg district. It forms a unit together with the castle park Nymphenburg and the small park castles. It is one of the great royal castles in Europe and is today a much-visited sight.
The castle was for a long time the summer residence of the Wittelsbacher.
Nymphenburg was commissioned in 1664 by Elector Ferdinand Maria as a gift to his wife Adelheid of Savoy, when she had given him Max Emanuel as a long-awaited throne. Max Emanuel himself later played a major role in the expansion of the castle.
In the Treaty of Nymphenburg of 1741 France, Spain, Bavaria, Saxony allied themselves with Prussia against Austria. Elector Karl Albrecht lived on his return to Munich in his time as emperor from October 1744 mostly in Nymphenburg and died here in 1745. In 1747 his son founded Elector Max III. Joseph the Nymphenburg porcelain manufactory. In 1792 Elector Karl Theodor opened the Nymphenburger Park to the people.
King Maximilian I died in 1825, his great-grandson, King Ludwig II, was born here in 1845. In 1863, the only meeting between Ludwig and Otto von Bismarck took place in Nymphenburg, which remained a lifelong friendship.
By the 1918 revolution Nymphenburg came under Krongutverwaltung, then in state ownership (Bavarian administration of the state castles, gardens and lakes). The Wittelsbachers retained a limited right to live, which is used by the respective head of the house Wittelsbach (currently Franz von Bayern). In the Second World War, the castle complex was largely spared. In 1944, a hitman destroyed a part of the German hunting museum. In 1972, before the backdrop of the Nymphenburg Palace, the Olympic competitions were held in dressage rides.
