Neff 11/9/1966 - 2/23/2004 The commissioners of the Harford Fire District and members of the Harford Fire Department hearby express their heartfelt sympathy on the tragic death in the line of duty of deputy chief Bret E. Neff while attending a mutual aid call on February 23, 2004. Be request of the Department and resolution of the commissioners, Brett's badge #457 will be permanently retired in recognition and memory of his service and sacrifice. Bret's dedication, enthusiasm and humor will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of working and serving at his side."
