ANZAC Park, on Vernon Street, has not only a beautiful bronze sculpture of Simpson and his donkey, but memorial plaques for other conflicts that the locals have been represented at.

While ANZAC Park was first dedicated 25 April, 1970, other memorials have been added since. With the most recent (I believe, info from Monument Australia) being Friday 11th November, 2005.

Description of Memorial:
ANZAC park on Vernon Street, has the central white marble stand, with a sculpture of "Simpson and Donkey", with a Remembrance wall to the north, with MANY plaques for individuals, Units, and War Honour Rolls. There is also a black marble stand east of 'Simpson', with plaques on the four sides listing soldiers involved in conflicts.
