This is a eagle wings spread, same as the US Army used for the Honorable Discharge pin for soldiers after WWII, (called the ruptured duck), inside a wreath and overlaid on a draped display of garland. Above the eagles head is a crown, reminiscent of a British crown, all of this resting upon the banner with the text HARDIN COUNTY COURT HOUSE
