This red telephone box is located not too far from the TT course Grandstand which which marks the start/finish line of the Isle of Man Mountain Course.

As a safety precaution during the TT and Manx Grand Prix motorcycling races the box has 'straw bales' attached to reduce injuries to any rider unlucky enough to come off his motorcycle and collide with the box.
