The Týnská Street is one of the narrowest streets in the Old Town, it runs along the Týnský Temple and passes the Prague's Ungelt.
The Týnská Street is tortuous street, closely adjacent to the Ungelt area, it is one of those sites, which in its southern part is still reminiscent of the original character of the buildings in Prague before its edevelopment.

Vaclav Jansa (October 22, 1859 Slatinice - June 29, 1913 Cernošice) (
visit link) Czech landscape artist and illustrator, best known for these views, originally painted in water-colour.
Jansa was apprenticed to buyers, but later he devoted himself to his hobby of drawing and painting. Vaclav Jansa traveled a lot and took to painting landscapes. He painted mostly southern Bohemia and Giant Mountains. Since 1893 was redeveloped historic districts of Prague, Prague ghetto and parts of the Old and New Town. In this time Jansa painted cca 150 colored watercolors documenting disappearing part of the city.

Krivolaká ulicka, priléhající tesne k prostoru Ungeltu, je jednou z tech lokalit, která ve své jižní cásti dodnes upomíná na puvodní charakter pražské zástavby pred asanací. Na obraze vlevo severní cást c.p. 630 domu U Zlatého prstenu, následuje štít domu c.p. 631 U Kasiusu, dále c.p. 632 U Trí orechu ci U Trí orechových stromu - oba puvodne gotické, vícekrát výrazneji prestavované, naposledy klasicistne. Zleva roh novostavby pozdne klasicistního domu c.p. 625 U Husara ci dríve U Holubu, postaveného na starších základech. Za ním další nároží patrí domu c.p. 623. Dále již neobarokní nájemní dum c.p. 1053 postavený v letech 1893-1894 podle plánu Alfonse Wertmullera. Stojí v místech mohutného puvodne stredovekého domu U Trojlístku jetelového, U Kleeblatu, U Klepolotu. U Kleoblátu, v nemž se nacházel proslavený hostinec. Mezi jeho významné vlastníky patril v 16. století mj. i cestovatel Václav Prefát z Vlkanova.
