Jan Bedrich Minarík (December 15, 1862, Prague-Vyšehad - May 26, 1937) (
visit link) , was a Czech painter and graphic artist, pupil J. Marák at the Prague Academy. He became famous as a painter of motifs disappearing part of Prague. His work falls within the years 1907-1911. His paintings captured Josefov district and some parts of the Old Town and New Town. Also captured a number of motifs vanishing areas or individual houses. He also painted on Vysehrad, Mala Strana and Prague Castle.

Zleva prucelí a portál kostela sv. Jakuba, puvodne gotického, v barokní úprave z let 1690-1702 podle návrhu Jana Šimona Pánka. Dále za ústím ulice Jakubské steny rozsáhlého ctyrkrídlého komplexu c.p. 647/I „U Štupartu", „Míšenský", „Sixtuv Platejs"" ci „Certova krcma".
Složitá historie domu sahá až do stredoveku. Dukladnou prestavbou vcetne rozšírení prošel celý komplex v druhé polovine 17. století, když jej vlastnil Petr Štupart z Lowenthalu. V dome se v roce 1786 narodil malír František Tkadlík. Po pravé strane domy areálu Ungeltu - Týnského dvora, v popredí c.p. 636/I „Modrý dum"" puvodne pozdne gotický, prestavovaný barokne v druhé polovine 17. století a krátce po roce 1852 pozdne klasicistne upravený. V pruhledu pruchodní cást „Manhartovského paláce" c.p. 595/I, stojícího v místech dríve stredovekých domu, kolem roku 1700 spojených barokní prestavbou, palác byl upravován na konci 18. století zejména smerem do ulice Celetné a ve vnitrních dispozicích.
