From the local newspaper, Manning River Times article of 15 May, 2015, for the 75th anniversary, it sounds like the Hon. L. O. Martin was a resident somewhere near Taree. (

Quoting: "There were chairs on the span for the visitors and a table for the Press. The Premier, Mr. Alexander Mair motored from Newcastle yesterday (Friday) morning, and on arrival had morning tea at Mr L.O. Martin's home."
