The Devil´s Stream, together with houses around, is one of the most beautiful places in Prague. It is an artificial channel, dividing the Kampa Island from the Lesser Town. The houses along the Devil´s Stream stand right by the river, which gave the channel the name Prague Venice. There is an old mill-wheel in the channel and it makes this place look even more picturesque.
Lesser Town Bridge Towers (Malostranské mostecké veže) are two stylistically different towers, connected by a gate, form the entrance to the Lesser Town from Charles Bridge. The smaller tower is Romanesque, dating from the 12th century; its current Renaissance appearance dates to 1591. The taller Late Gothic tower, from 1464, is based on the architecture of Parlér's Old Town Bridge Tower. From its viewing gallery, you get a stunning view of the flowing Vltava River and the historical city centre.
