In the old days, the lords who came to their land in the country had to find food in abundance.
The dovecote was an excellent pantry.

A vertical ladder, suspended from brackets fixed on a central mat pivoting on its base, allowed access to the nests.
Today, a centenary oak grows in the center of the dovecote, a tree ranked among the 210 remarkable trees of France.
