This 4 horsepower steam-powered water well pump engine is on display at the Crockett County Museum in Ozona TX.

A sign at the engine reads as follows:

1933 WATER WELL PUMP ENGINE

This 4hp steam engine powered a water pump sending water into a dirt tank* on the Roy Ranch here in Crockett County

Donated by Eugene "Jake" Miller"

*meaning an unlined pond for cows to drink from, AKA 'cattle tank" -- BMB

Today, it is on display outside of the Crockett County Museum, located in the old courthouse annex on the courthouse square in downtown Ozona.

If you come visit in December, perhaps you will be lucky enough to see a snowman, who appears to be proudly showing off a water well pump engine that might have contributed to his existence.
