This is an 8-ton crane dating from 1893, on display on a short section of railway track at the site of the former Railway Station in Union Mills, Isle of Man

The crane was manufactured by Richard C. Gibbins & Co. of Berkley Street, Birmingham, United Kingdom in 1893.

This crane was Breakdown Crane No.2 for Isle of Man Railways and is now preserved at the former Station in Union Mills on the former Douglas to Peel line.

The route of the former railway line is now a footpath known as the "Heritage Trail".

Embossed on the Crane's counterweight is the name of the Crane's Manufacturer:
