The “Old Plough” is said to have once had pigs, hens and geese in the yard and a swearing parrot in the bar!
"Dating back to 1672 the Old Plough is a highly regarded and well known local pub. 2 beer festivals a year are held in May and September and two different bars with real fires are adorned with paintings and artifacts including a collection of 'shaving mugs'. Offering the rare Tetley dark mild, with 'homemade' pub food a beer garden and patio, combine to provide a classic village real ale experience."
