Ella is buried in Lawn Section 1, Row "C", Plot 190.
Her bronze plaque is similar to the many plaques in this well kept lawn cemetery. Her husband, William Walter Binns is buried beside her, tho he pre-deceased her by 40 years, being buried in March 1963, aged 68 years.
Being born in 1888, Ella lived through many political changes in Australia. The Premier of the Colony of New South Wales in 1890 was Sir Henry Parkes (1815 - 1896), who gave an oration at Tenterfield in 1889, which lead the way to many meetings across 'the land' (the Nation of Australia came into being in 1901 with Federation of States, to become the Commonwealth of Australia, when Ella was 13.)

The plaque reads:
In loving memory of
Ella Christiana Binns
Passed away My 31, 2002
Aged 103 years 10 months
Dearly loved wife of Walter
Loved Mother of
Doreen, Hilda, Ethel and William
Awaiting the Resurrection

* While the Avondale Adventist Cemetery IS on the private property of "Avondale Estate", which includes two large Seventh-day Adventist Churches, a Tertiary Institution / University (Avondale College), and the Sanitarium (cereal manufacturer) Factory, all who want to be respectful in their visit here are welcomed past the gates off of Freemans Drive, opposite Cooranbong Village shops. *
