Die Altdeutsche Weinstube am Neuen Platz in Spittal an der Drau ist ein 1900 bis 1902 von Martin Ladinig errichtetes Gast- und Wohnhaus, das bis 1929 von Johann Rotschopf, Franz Sommeregger und Guido Zernatto dem Älteren im Stil der Neugotik, der Neorenaissance und des Neobarock ausgestattet wurde.

Der zweigeschossige Bau ist über einem winkelförmigen Grundriss errichtet. Die Krüppelwalmdächer der Dachhäuschen werden von dachreiterartigen Türmchen bekrönt. Die mit zwei rundbogigen Arkaden geöffnete Loggia aktzentuiert den Eingangsbereich an der Südseite. Die beiden mit „Martin Ladinig 1929“ bezeichneten Wandbilder an der Ostfassade stellen die Mantelspende des heiligen Martin und eine Szene aus dem „Gelobten Land“ dar und sind mit Sprüchen von Guido Zernatto versehen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses setzt sich aus „altdeutschem“ Kunsthandwerk vom Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts sowie antiquarischen Sammelstücken in der Tradition des romantischen Historismus des 19. Jahrhunderts zusammen.

The Altdeutsche Weinstube at the Neuer Platz in Spittal an der Drau is a guest house built between 1900 and 1902 by Martin Ladinig. In 1929 it was equipped and furnished in Neo-Gothic, Neo-Renaissance and Neo-Baroque style by Johann Rotschopf, Franz Sommeregger und Guido Zernatto. The two-storey building is built over an angular floor plan. The loggia with two arcades, accentuates the entrance area on the south side. On the south facade of the house there is a nice painted sundial, while on the east façade there are two murals signed "Martin Ladinig 1929". One of them depicts the mantle donation of St. Martin and the second one is a scene from the "Promised Land". The furnishings of the house are made up of "old German" craftsmanship from the beginning of the 20th century as well as antiquarian items in the tradition of the romantic historicism of the 19th century. Currently there is a restaurant in the house.
