The fountain measures about 10 feet across and has a central sculpture with four figures. On the top is a bowl where water starts it's decent down to the bottom reservoir. Taken from the Smithsonian, "Fountain whose base is divided into four parts under a round basin. Each part is fashioned into tiers or steps. A draped female figure sits atop each step. One figure holds a small child in her lap. The four women support the basin, in the center of which is the figure of a nude boy. This figure balances on his proper left leg while his other leg is kicked back. His proper right arm curves in front of him, and his proper left arm and head are upraised, as though in a dance."
