"In 1969 George Marchak was called to pastor a little flock of forty-one at the old church building site adjacent to the cemetery on Route 26. Pastor Marchak’s vision for a vast congregation on the hill encompassed a whole complex of ministry opportunities. With growth well over three hundred, the congregation pressed forward to purchase the former Maine-Endwell Elementary School building when it became available in 1981."
