A geocache brought our family here. We were amazed at the quiet, one-lane dirt road that meandered up to the old cemetery and passed through a few homeowners' property. This cemetery contains many graves of the first citizens of Brownsville, now an unincorporated community. The cemetery is maintained and still accepting new internments.
Surprisingly, for a small cemetery, this place had a Woodman of the World grave as well as a centenarian's grave.
