This nondescript private home at 610 Callaghan in Fort Stockton is nevertheless the historic location of the first telephone exchange in Fort Stockton.
Blasterz have seen a lot of telephone exchanges in cities around the country, but we have never seen one located in a private home. I guess that says something about how many people had telephones or wanted telephones in Fort Stockton in the first decade of the twentieth century.
