The baroque church was built between 1724 - 1726. The church was build at its own expense by Vaclav Neumann from Pucholz. The church was originally dedicated to the Fourteen Holy Helpers and the Blessed Virgin Mary. For what reason have been renamed is not know.
From this church comes the famous Michelská Madonna (Madonna from Michle, which is part of the collections of National gallery at St. Agnes Monastery.
