Grand Saline Library

The historic train depot that was built in 1923. The depot originally sat along the Texas and Pacific Railroad line. With the salt industry in town the railroad depot was vital for shipping and receiving to and from the different salt mines in town during the early 1900's. The building had been sitting empty for many years when the library moved into the building in 1980.
