Cást lesa s prirozenou druhovou skladbou drevin a bylin s charakteristickými druhy teplomilné doubravy a svetlých lesních okraju byl pro svuj biologický význam zaregistrován jako významný krajinný prvek. Na jihozápade orientovaných svazích s porostem prevážne dubu zimního a vtroušenou borovicí lesní a javorem babykou roste celá rada chránených a ohrožených druhu rostlin (vemeník dvoulistý 1, okrotice bílá, medovník medunkolistý 2, lilie zlatohlavá 3, hlístník hnízdák). Na lesním okraji najdeme teplomilné druhy bylin (kakost krvavý, krucinku chlupatou) i vzácnejší drevinu - jeráb brek 4.
Les je útocištem celé rady chránených živocichu, napríklad krajníka hnedého 5, roháce obecného 6, skokana štíhlého, slepýše krehkého, krahujce obecného nebo jestrába lesního 7. Na lesních okrajích z chránených živocichu žije cmelák zemní, ješterka obecná, koroptev polní nebo krutihlav obecný 8.

Part of the forest with native tree species and herbs with characteristic species of thermophilic oak forest edges and light was on its biological significance is registered as a significant landscape element. On the southwest-facing slopes with vegetation mostly oak-pine forest and disseminated maple grows a number of protected and endangered plant species (1 Lesser Butterfly-orchid, white helleborine, Bastard Balm 2, 3 lily, neottia nidus-avis). On the edge of the forest we find thermophilic species of herbs (Geranium bloody, hairy Genista) and rare species - Crane checkerberry fourth
The forest is a refuge for a wide range of protected species such as the brown stones 5, 6 of the stag, jumper lean, slow-worms fragile, sparrowhawk and goshawk 7. On the forest fringes of protected animals live Bombus terrestris, lizard, partridge or wryneck 8th.
