This interesting tomb at Menard's Pioneer Rest Cemetery gives the appearance of an above ground burial, however this is not a mausoleum but a style of grave covering that gives the illusion of a mausoleum by stacking limestone blocks over the in-ground grave.
The hand-inscribed tombstone reads as follows:

June 5, 1885"
