The sculpture consists of 7 large metal sheets and 2 small ones. The large ones are about 3 feet wide and 5 feet tall each, while the small ones are about a foot wide and 5 feet tall. It depicts the first ferry service in New York, which occurred near this spot. The sculpture is located near the main entrance to Peck Slip School in South Street Seaport.
