In the center of Lake George is Shepard Park, where there is a plaza surrounding Centennial Fountain that has engraved bricks.
Shepard Park is the village green, situated between U.S. 9 and Lake George. There is a path directly from the road to the fountain.
The plaza is circular and encompasses the fountain. There is a mixture of red brick and larger granite square stones. Many of the bricks are also on the outside of the wall for the fountain.
According to an article found, the bricks were being laid with the fountain, which was dedicated in October 2003. The village web site has a page about buying bricks.
