The San Saba Veterans Memorial was placed at Mill Pond Park by the San Saba County Historical Commission in 1996. The memorial honors all veterans of San Saba County who served in the Armed Forces of the United States, in features bronze medallions of each branch of the Armed Forces set in a pink granite monument topped with a trapezoid, which is engraved as reproduced below.
