Veterans of Foreign War Post 11166 is housed in the Veterans Memorial Hall in Harold O. Bainbridge Park. The post was chartered in 1991.

"ne of the best opportunities is the local, Fort Bragg, chapter of the VFW. The local post meets once a month on the second Wednesday at the Veterans Memorial Building (on the corner of Laurel and Harrison streets – map). All veterans are welcome to attend the meeting; if you are not a member of the VFW you can attend as a guest. Membership in the VFW is open to both men and women veterans. The meetings start at 6:30 PM; a pre-meeting pot luck starts around 5:30 PM.

On the third Sunday of each month the post offers a veterans breakfast – open to the public; $7.00 for adults. The breakfast is at the Veterans Memorial Building. Breakfasts will not happen in January and February – they will be back in March." (visit link)
