The Tides Hotel is located in South Beach's Art Deco District. Although it would appear to be relatively new, this hotel was built around 1936.
The building appears to have 11 stories with the top floor apparently being a penthouse. The building is light tan. The windows above the 2nd story each have four narrow panes with the central windows also having lineal designs underneath them.
Most of the art deco hotels in South Beach were built in the 1930s and 1940s.
