This interesting slot obelisk tombstone on 2 bases caught our eye at historic San Saba Cemetery today. It's interesting variation from rough to dressed stone makes this one of the more interesting Woodmen memorials we have seen today.

The tombstone reads as follows:

"G. S. MURRAY

Born
Sept 4 1880
Died
June 23 1908

The Lord gave,
And the Lord hath
taken away,
Blessed be the
name of the Lord.

[base]
WoW medallion"
Was the inscription legible?: Yes
