NY State historical marker recounting the the crossing of the Erie Railroad, a roadway and a trolley line near the old town of Hoover in 1848.

The marker was erected in 1976 by the League of Community Action as a Bicentennial project. As such, it bears the distinctive US bicentennial logo instead of the normal NY state outline.
