Cinéma Olympia is a movie theater from the 1920s in Rue de la Pompe 5, Cannes. It is a rather small multiplex-cinema with nine screens and 1200 seats in total. Nevertheless, it is quite famous, because during the film festival of Cannes, those films to be awarded are shown here to an elected audience for about two weeks of the year. Apart from that time, it is a regular public cinema featuring current Hollywood blockbusters as well as local French movies in 2D and 3D.
