This is a large brick building which is adjacent to a large brick Roman Catholic church, St Francis of Assisi. There is a cornerstone with the August 7, 1927. This was a time when Methodists were called Methodist Episcopal. There is a stained glass window over the door with the name of the church and the years 1897 and 1927. The first is probably the date of organization or the date of an earlier building.
