Building of Palace Rokoko was part of a complex of three multi-purpose buildings, forming the corner of Wenceslas Square and Štepánská Street on the site of the former Aerenthálského palace from the early 17th century. The complex, which is considered one of the remarkable landmarks of Wenceslas Square, was built between 1912-1916 by the renowned Prague construction firm Matej Blecha, designed by a leading architect of the Cubism and Art Nouveau period Emil Králícek.
