The block-style WoW tombstine for J. T. Coke drew our eye because of the number of medallions on it. The "keystone" medallion on the left signifies that he is a 4th decree Master mason, and the medallion on the right shows his affiliation with the Woodmen of the World.
Next to him is the elegantly engraved Woodmen's Circle tombstone for is wife Kate.
These tombstones read as follows:
"[Keystone medallion]
[Initial]
[WoW medallion]
J. T. COKE
Dec 25, 1867
Feb. 10, 1920
Asleep in Jesus"
and
"[Woodmen's Circle Medallion]
KATE HALE COKE
July 26, 1867
Jan. 30, 1944
Yet though thy smile be lost to sight
To memory, thou art dear."
