When you walk across the Danube river by the Chain Bridge you will se lots of love padlocks mounted to the lamps.
The chain bridge was the first permanent bridge that connected the two cities Buda and Pest, and was built back in 1849. It was destroyed by the Germans during WW2 and only the towers were left. In 1949 the bridge had been reconstructed.
