Location of cross: US-64 & Whiteville-Somrville Rd., Whiteville

The building looks vacant, that stands next to the cross, or more accurately, upon who's grounds the cross stands.

Google identifies this building as Joyner's Muffler & repair Shop. It looks like at one time it may have been a volunteer fire house, but was vacant upon my visit on Dec. 5th, 2016

So, no other information on the cross or why it is there.
